We arrived at Dapitan City Experimental Elementary School at 7:30 in the morning. We still wait for a couple of minutes until we had an orientation with the School Principal, Mrs. Carmencita Ferraren. She shared to us the pointers for our observation. She also assigned us to the different teachers of the school. The cooperating teacher that was assigned to me was Mrs. Melba P. Benida, Grade –I Red Adviser.

She also assigned us to the different teachers of the school. The cooperating teacher that was assigned to me was Mrs. Melba P. Benida, Grade –I Red Adviser.
For that day’s accomplishment, I had to observe the physical facilities that the school has as well as the environment around the school premises.
January 18, 2012-Wednesday-1:00-4:00
That was the second day of our observation and I had adjusted to the school’s environment and its characteristics.
For that day, I had to describe the characteristics and the needs of the learners. I also observed how the teachers manage the students and also their learning.
January 25, 2012-Wednesday-10:00-4:00
On that day, I had a really great time joining the students especially during their lunch. My purpose in doing that was to identify the learner’s individual differences and the level of interaction they have inside the class.
February 1, 2012-Wednesday-1:00-4:00
That day was a “detective-like” day mission for me because I had to observe two different learners of different abilities but form the same year level and I had to find out some information about their background.
February 8, 2012-Wednesday-1:00-4:00
That was my last day of observation. I had selected a learner from a class whom I had observed and conducted a home visit to their house. I had reflected the impact of home and family life to learning.
