U-KISS member Dongho has been rushed to the hospital with pleurisy, potentially needing to undergo lung surgery.

While traveling to attend a promotional event, the idol began experiencing pain in his chest. After the pain became severe, Dongho was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with pleurisy.

Pleurisy is a type of inflammation in the chest cavity surrounding the lungs. The inflamed tissue rubs up against the lungs with every breath, causing extreme pain. The most common cause of the disease is a viral infection.

Dongho has currently cancelled all of his scheduled appearances as he seeks treatment for his disease, including his interview with Chung-Ang University where he hopes to study. The rest of U-KISS will continue promoting their 7th album "Stop Girl" without him.
