Tim Hwang concert in Lapangan D Senayan, Jakarta on 29 September 2012, was highly anticipated by his fans. At the press conference, he promised a triple surprise for his fans who will be attending his first live concert in Indonesia.

Tim Hwang, who is also known as prince of ballad from South Korea, made a collaboration with Indonesian artist for his concert, and he was the first Korean artist who performed with live band concept. The reason is to show people that music knows no boundaries and can be translated in many languages. That was not the only concept, Tim Hwang's concert was also different with any other Korean artists who had performed before in Indonesia, because he prepared Indonesian songs to be sung on stage with the live band for the concert. A special treat for the audiences so they could feel a different atmosphere when watching his performance.

The concert took place for about 2 hours and gained more than 1800 fans. Tim sang around 20 songs including exclusive collaboration with his partner in the Indonesian-Korean drama, "Saranghae, I Love You" with Revalina S. Temat and Ronald Gustav, hits from Rihanna, Adele, Coldplay, Queen, and many more. Because of his injured hand, Tim couldn't perform his skill on playing guitar and piano instead he showed a fresh and memorable concert for his fans.

As a surprise to his fans, Siwon of Super Junior was shown on the big screen, sending his message and support for Tim's concert and requested him to sing "Sorry Sorry".

Even though he covered many famous Korean songs at the concert like 2NE1's "I Don't Care", Wonder Girls' "Nobody", PSY's "Gangnam Style" and Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry", he rearranged the composition of the songs with his band by putting his own style into the songs. He even changed "Oppa Gangnam Style" into "Oppa Kpop Style".

Another surprise was singing an Indonesian song, "Sempurna" (Perfect) from Andra and The Backbone. Many fans praised him for singing this song because he sounded fluent singing it. "Aku memang bukan orang yang sempurna, tapi kalian membuat kehadiranku menjadi sempurna" (--I'm not a perfect man, but you had made my presence become perfect), he said, reading from the letter he wrote about Indonesia. Tim also read 2 fans' poems that he chose himself from the contest held by the promoter.
