After ending their promotions in Korea with Love Style, Boyfriend finally dropped their Japan debut single, "Be My Shine" last August 22, 2012.
Their debut single was warmly welcomed by Japan making it land on the number 4 spot on the Oricon Single Daily Ranking Charts. This place is to be considered high especially Boyfriend, is still new to the music industry, both in Korea and Japan.
Boyfriend has also made a successful Japan showcase before, with a record of 40,000+ fans, even surpassing Girls' Generation's record of 25,000 fans.
