Rising rookie group, B.A.P concluded a successful showcase in Malaysia on July 6th, heating up the showcase venue, KL LIVE.
The members of B.A.P arrived in Malaysia on 4th of July and were invited to perform in Showdown, a dance competition and program in Malaysia. They stole the stage and amazed the crowd with a very powerful performance, “Power”.
On July 5th, the organizer brought the boys to have some fun in Sunway Lagoon, which is one of the theme parks in Malaysia. A few fans were spotted at the venue too. They tried out most of the games in Sunway Lagoon such as go-kart, flying fox, went to the wild park, and also chilled out at the manmade beach. According to a host from the local TV channel, the boys tried some local delicacies too such as durian and sate.
B.A.P’s showcase which was held on July 6th was attended by over a thousand of fans. Some fans were spotted lining up since early in the morning. Official goodies as well as lightstick were sold at the venue too. The boys kicked started their showcase with their latest hit song, “Power”, followed by “Unbreakable” and heated up the venue with “What The Hell”. The three songs were welcome by their fans with hysterical screams! B.A.P fans showed their strong support by doing their fanchants and also singing along with the boys throughout their performances.
The members then vowed their fans with their solo stage. Their leader, Bang Yong Guk performed “I remember” while their maknae, Zelo performed “Never Give Up”. Jong Up later took over the stage by performing Michael Jackson’s medley and even ripped off his shirt at the end of his performance, making his fans went extremely wild and cheered loudly for him. The remaining three members (Daehyun, YoungJae and HimChan) later rocked on the stage with Justin Bieber’s “BABY” which was specially dedicated to the fellow Malaysian Baby!
Before the showcase started, fans were allowed to share the questions that they wanted to ask the boys on a special board provided. Among the questions asked were Yong Guk’s ideal girl, the meaning behind their fanclub, BABY and favorite dancer. Daehyun received a loud cheer from the Malaysian Baby when he was asked to reveal his abs. However, he did not do so but promised to show it to his fans next time and replaced it by dancing to Justin Bieber’s Baby. YoungJae was asked to show his rapping skill too and Jong Up was requested to show his dancing skill.
Later, the boys created a smooth and sweet atmosphere by performing ballad songs such as “All Lies” and “Secret Love”. Their fans were awed by their talents as well as stage presence and their vocals which blended so well with the atmosphere. B.A.P then wrapped up their showcase with their debut song, “Warrior”. A short fan sign session was held on the stage after the showcase whereby the first hundred early birds were able to meet them closely and get their signatures!
The boys expressed their appreciation and thanked their fans for showing such a great support and attending their showcase. Malaysian Baby who attended the showcase for sure had an unforgettable memory with the boys!
