On January 19th, 2PM's Junsu's father expectantly died from a heart attack. After an outpouring of sympathy from his fans, the singer talked about his passing on twitter.
"Please forgive me for not being there with you when you passed. I asked my father to wait for me to provide something better for him… I even made a promise with my dad just a few days ago that I will make that promise come true in March… I am very sorry father," he tweeted.
Afterwards, he thanks all his fans who have shown him support through these difficult times. He also expressed his hopes that his father was now in a better place and resting in peace.
The funeral of Junsu's father was held on January 20th. The other members of 2PM along with their staff accompanied Junsu, showing him support and keeping him strong through his loss.
