As Stewart Ho from CJ E&M enewsWorld reported, KBS' romantic drama, Love Rain, starring Jang Geun Suk and Girls' Generation's Yoona, will be exported to 12 different countries and regions.
Love Rain as well as the couple of the characters, Seo Jun (Jang Geun Suk) and Jung Hana (Yoona), have been gaining much love by viewers, and it is no surprise that other countries want to import their love story.
The drama gained much attention previously not only because of its cast but also because its broadcasting rights were sold to Japan before it even started airing in Korea. Following Japan, the countries of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Cambodia, the USA and Europe recently bought the broadcasting rights of it and will air it in their country.
In Japan and the Philippines, it will begin airing this year.
Love Rain's production team showed its joy about this news by saying, "Following the news that the [broadcasting rights] have been sold in Asia, the USA and Europe, the actors and the staff members are feeling a greater sense of responsibility and work even harder. Please continue to give us your support!"
