The group originally consisted of Na Mi, Mika, Hwi Eun, and Young Joo and they were described as an R&B-pop group. Mika left the group due to personal reasons and she was replaced by Jung Min. On July 5, 2010 Black Pearl released their first mini-album Go Go Ssing.
