Kim Him Chan, best known as Himchan, is the vocalist, rapper and visual of a South Korean K-pop hip-hop boy band, B.A.P. Before his debut with B.A.P, he became an ulzzang at "BESTNINE" with MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, Block B’s Jaehyo, and CNBlue’s Yonghwa and Jonghyun. Within the same year he appeared in Jung Seulgi’s music video for "Back In Place Again". In August 2011, Kim made his television debut as an emcee at SBS MTV's "The Show" with Jeon Hyosung, Luna and Lee Hyeri. He also appeared in Secret’s "Shy Boy" and "Starlight Moonlight", Song Jieun’s "Going Crazy" and Bang & Zelo’s "Never Give Up". He also made a cameo appearance in the movie "Mr. Idol" with Bang Yong Guk. Within the same year, he participated in a rap gig with Vasco and Yongguk in Seoul. In August 2011, TS Entertainment introduced its second member, Kim Him Chan and revealed that he will be an emcee in MTV's The Show.
In January 2012, B.A.P made their smashing debut with their lead single "WARRIOR" which made 44th on the Gaon and 49th on the Billboard Korea K-Pop Hot 100 charts. On January 26, 2012, Bang won the Best Hip Hop Artist on Allkop 2011 Awards. Close
